Tap Room Renovation: Old Wood & Fresh Paint

Weeks away from our 821 Chicago Ave. Tap Room opening, Sketchbook shares news and pix!

Matt Kosloski scored us some great bowling alley wood which you'll see topping our bar and tables.

For the bar and surrounding portal (you'll just have to wait and see), Lou Dickson at Rebuilding Warehouse found us some beautiful fir flooring, which carpenter Phil Wright will be transforming soon.

In the basement below 821, we've installed a used walk-in cooler--ready to welcome Sketchbook beer soon!

Up above, the plumbing is in, and the walls are being painted.  No orange door in the Tap Room...but we have an orange wall!

Timeline? We have too many pieces of paper pending to make promises, but we know we'll be welcoming you into our space in April.  Watch your in-boxes and facebook streams for news.
